Hey, I’m Hannah!

The smith behind Shade Mountain Silver. I’ve been silversmithing since the summer of 2022, when I taught myself to smith from my home. This has been an incredible and healing journey for me.

When I’m not at my bench, you can usually find me hanging with my husband and daughter on our farm, or snapping photos behind a camera for by other business, Sparrow and Lace Photography.

Some of my favorite things:

• a hot cup of coffee in the morning

• reading (especially murder mysteries)

• making sourdough bread
